Boredom

I know no ones going to read this, but I don't think it really matters.

I was just listening to a radio show about writing and the "Writer" said that it was a good idea to blog. So I will. I've always sort of wanted to write, but I never really got the hang of it. I can write for school, short stories, articles, not really essays, but the slightly creative stuff. It's A's and B's in that respect, but I've tried to write for "Leisure" and I can never get more that 2-3 paragraphs out before I end up losing all inspiration. I wonder why, I guess because of the lack of pressure.

I wonder if anything can be proved, apart from the fact that I'm pretty sure that I think I exist. I can not really prove that either, but if I couldn't than all thoughts to do with actual existence would be slightly hypocrytical. And how do I know that I actually am an independent entity, If I was, in fact, a puppet to some greater power, would it not suit their purposes best to fool me into thinking I was independant. And even so, would it make any difference. I wonder if permeations in the continuum (Yes, I know it's a cliche but it's actually a real thing.) can affect other supposed permeations. That would explain Feng-Shui or whatever. There's gravity, but that's a fairly standard area of influence. It would also be a scientific explanation for the joy I feel whenever I re-arrange my room. Actual joy is rare these days, it's mostly just moments of amusment or ironic apathy. Sometimes I feel joy, thats a bit of a nostalgic term isn't it, when I'm reading. It's rare, but that's one of the main reasons I read, you just become so engaged that a little chill goes through your body and you just feel plain happy. This is a bit like that stupid English log, but much more interesting.

I can't decide whether I want to drop Physics or Chemistry,or neither. I know I'll drop Ext. English, It's good, but not that good. I think it'll be Physics, but I do want to do Quantum. I don't really see people anymore these days. Not really, I just run in to them on my way from lonely place to lonely place. I like that Eragon quote "We always die alone, no-one can follow us into the void.", very true. I want more interesting radio, this is just boring. I wish I could speak more eloquently, I'm a terrible speaker. People, as John would say, are idiots. No offence to any individuals out there, your probably all interesting, intelligent people, but we're such idiots as a species. I can't imagine how much we've corrupted God's image, no offence to God, but it's hard to imagine how something so perfect could turn into this bunch of raving lunatics. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that we are a group. Maybe if we all went and lived on our own planet we would stop being so selfish and destructive. I think that therein lies the problem with communism. I'm a big fan of communism, as a theory. If it worked, it would fix a lot of problems wih our society. But it will never work, mostly because we're sinful. I wonder if there's any sin which does not revolve around selfishness, because I can't think of any.

I want to go somewhere were there is noone else, not for ever, maybe just for a few years, but I think it would be interesting. I'd probably write a bit more, hopefully I'd exercise, maybe learn how to cook. I'd definetly want to bring an instrument, maybe two or three, learn how to play saxaphone, obeo, contrabase, drums, guitar maybe. The whole "Stuck on an Island" thing is a bit old, but it doesn't have to be an island. Maybe a forest or a desert. Though an island would be best. Maybe I could have a boat, a fairly big one, and just stop at ports about twice a year for supplies. just drift around on the ocean for a while.

Night.

JUST posting

hi,
I'm just posting a blog just for the sake of just posting a blog on this site just like this one.
do you just like posting blogs on sites just like this one?
I just hope that you do just enjoy it.
and just in case you just don't enjoy it,
I will just have to change you mind just like I would just like to do.
any way, just what is the point in just not posing blogs?
Just posting blogs in just like the thing I like best which is just the best thing in the word
and just for you information I just really do tend to just like the word just, not that you would have just noticed that.
I just hope that you just decide to come back to this site with just a few minuts to just read any more blogs I just might post.
I'll just be going now,
just Steve

today

today was today and no other day than today. I like today because it is today and not yesterday no in fact it is deffinately today and not yesterday. yesterday is yesterday and no other day than yesterday. I like yesterday because it was yesterday and not today in fact it is deffinately yesterday and not today. don't you like yesterday? or do you prefer today? but any way enough with yesterday and today, lets talk about tomorrow. tomorrow is tomorrow and no other day than tomorrow. I like tomorrow because it is tommorow and not yesterday or today. yesterday is always in the past, today is always in the present, and tomorrow never comes.
good bye,
Steve

Hey Steve, I do not type real in Dutch, only an using translator, but it looks at rather real. On Monday go we to London for a week, sound it as pret, think I, the traction sounds if very long one, take it our 5 hours to get to the tunnel entrance, then a half hour on the train, plus the time it takes us to get to the camping site. Fortunately using we not the tent but we will remain in one of those large caravandingen. Mat the Dutch master of the frog.

Smithing

Hey,

Mum's cousins husband is a blacksmith and he said we could have a go at making something.

It was incredible how fast the metal got hot once you stuck it in the fire (it took about 10-15 seconds to get hot) if you left in there for to long it started melting and sparkling, I'll send you some pictures when I get back to katwijk.

Matt the frog master.

cant wait!

till you get home matt,
great to hear that it will be so soon,
i've realy been missing you!!!

Hello,

Today I just felt like writing in the blog.

This morning we woke up and it was pouring, nothing particularly strange about that, we'd being expecting it for the last 3-4 days, it poured and then bucketed intermittently, then at about 11:00 , a couple of minutes before Oom Piet came back from French lessons, the roof started leaking in the kitchen, we drilled some holes but they didn't do much, there is a section of the roof which is only one storey high and is just made of wood and pebbles on top so we think the problem lies somewhere in there.

And the fridge is broken so we've being living out of our little esky for the last 1-2 weeks, mum's aunty had an extra fridge which we just picked up which will hopefully mean we can keep milk AND juice at the same time!

Paris

The first day we went into Paris by train and caught the metro to the Eiffel Tower. The Tower Had 3 levels, to get up the first 2 you can take the lift or the stairs. We took the lift up to the second level were you had to change lifts, which meant another half an hour queue. At the top you can see all of Paris, Apparently it's the biggest city in Europe, and it wasn't hard to believe.

On the way back we took the metro and apparently we took one going the wrong way which meant an extra hour of changing trains until we eventually got on the right one and headed home.

On the way back we did some groceries at the biggest super market I've ever seen. It had 60 something checkouts and the price checkers worked on rollerblades.

...

The second day went to a palace somewhere around Paris, we went past the Eiffel tower but you
couldn't see it because of all the buildings.

The queue to get in was over two hours long so instead we went and looked at the gardens, they were fairly big, at the end we sat next to a lake and had what some people call lunch, and others call a snack.

When we came back we went to a lake for a swim.

That'll do for now,

Hey Steve,

Today we have some australians called the Vreelings coming for dinner and then going to the beach, we went to their house a few days ago and had lunch in a park, it was fun.

Hope you send some posts soon.

Matt the frog master.

Saturday, July 15, 2006

Hey Steve,

Yesterday we went to the beach.

Not just for a few hours mind you, we went from 10:00 in the morning till 6:00 in the afternoon!

I really don't like Dutch beaches, people go swimming, but that's not what they came there for, they came to just sit in the blazing sun and do (drum roll please) ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!

And I am expected to just sit there and do exactly the same thing, THESE DUTCHIES ARE CRAZY!

Hey Steve,

Yesterday we went to another place called "Blow it, I forgot the name", but its a bunch of lakes which you can hire boats in so we hired 2 and went to a cow island for a picnic.

Apparently this is were they build boats for Arabian sheik type persons

Matt the frog master.

Hey Steve,

2 days ago we went to a place called "Hoek Van Holland" Which is, Corner from Holland.

Didn't really see the point cause its nowhere near the corner, but its were you can see all the big ships go into Rotterdam, which has the biggest harbour in the world.

This thing is a giant movable flood barrier.

If you look carefully you may be able to see dad and Beth in the bottom right corner.
